Introducing The Italian Artshop
The Italian Artshop was started by artists for artists. We were becoming tired of the same paints and products on South African art store shelves, and were aware that there other much better international brands available – thus our original concept was born! Sixteen years ago, The Italian Artshop began, and our mission was, and continues to be, to introduce fantastic new products at highly affordable prices. We are now the sole importer of many of the world’s top-quality brands of art materials, some of which are not available anywhere else in South Africa!
Other than being the best and most reliable importer of international art brands, we also wanted to develop an intrinsic knowledge of the products we sell, not only to benefit experienced, professional artists, but also beginners and everyone in between! In the years since our humble beginnings, The Italian Artshop has grown from (literally!) a garage to a large, contemporary store in a busy and popular mall!
Our retail store is in Cape Town, but we are able to send products all over South Africa daily. Over the years, our well stocked store in Rondebosch has become a popular destination for both locals and out-of-towners, who come to browse our shelves and purchase amazing products at affordable prices.
